New driving range powered by Toptracer opening April 2019

We are investing hundreds of thousands into our driving range including:

100K tonnes of soil to relevel the range • New ball machine • Refurbishment of the bays • New targets & target greens

There is currently a 3m net to hit into and range balls are 50% off during the refurbishment.

May 2017

The refurb began. The driving range was closed, but a 45yard golf pod was installed so golfers can still practice.

May 2017

The 1st of many lorries brought soil onto site and a haul road was constructed so that the lorries could get to the back of the range.

July 2017

Soil continued to be tipped, and the back of the outfield begun to build up

September 2017

Throughout the summer lorries continued to bring soil to site, and the back of the outfield was almost at its new height.

January 2018

For the rest of 2017 the lorries continued to deliver soil and gradually the outfield was built up and began to level out

March 2018

The snow stopped the soil from being imported. But it did look very pretty!

May 2018

By end of May 2018, 100,000 tonnes of soil had been brought to site and the outfield was finally level.

July 2018

The new target greens are marked out and shaped. The outfield was top dressed with fine soil.

August 2018

The golf pod had to be removed to allow the final grading of the range to take place to level it out.

August 2018

It has been replaced with a 3m practice net to allow visitors to warm up and for our pros to continue teaching

September 2018

Drainage is installed and the outfield is finally seeded!!
