Russell Takes the Reins

Wycombe Heights Golf Centre has appointed a new general manager, who has pledged to uphold its reputation as one of the best public courses in the region

Russell Stebbings has taken the reins at the Golf Centre, which was recently selected as a Berks, Bucks and Oxon Golf Partnership centre of excellence to coach the couty's top youngsters.

Russell was formerly based at Birchwood Park Golf Centre in Kent where he was assistant general manager for five years.  The centre is owned by Burhill Golf and Leisure Limited, who also own Wycombe Heights.

"The Centre already has a great reputation as being a fantastically maintained course with first class coaching and great hospitality"  said Russell.  "I have thoroughtly enjoyed my first few weeks and look forward to working with the staff to maintain Wycombe Heights' strong reputation.  I can't wait to meet all the people who use Wycombe Heights on a regular basis, whether they are golfers or non-golfers using the clubhouse for a social drink or meal."
