Wycombe Heights Golf Centre General Terms and Conditions

General: When choosing to play at Wycombe Heights Golf Centre you agree to accept the golf booking terms and conditions as detailed below, and which from time to time may be amended. You are also expected to follow the basic guidelines for etiquette, pace of play, use of hire equipment and centre dress code whilst on and around the course.

Tee Times & Deposits: All visitors at Wycombe Heights Golf Centre are required to book a tee time either prior to arriving at the Centre or on the day they are playing. No deposit is required for bookings made by telephone or at the reception desk, however for any groups of 8 more this booking is classed as a group and a deposit of £100 is required. For online bookings a prepayment of the full booking value is required.

Checking In: Members & visitors are advised to check in at least 20 minutes prior to the pre-booked tee time. Players should check in at least 20 minutes prior to their allocated start time and be ready at the tee 10 minutes before. If you or any of your party fail to be ready to play on the tee 10 minutes prior to your tee time the Centre reserves the right to move your booking to the next available time, or subject to availability mandate you and your party start from an alternative hole. If we are unable to provide an alternative tee time or starting hole on the same day no refunds or credits will be given

Cancellations: Cancellations to tee times can be made up to 24 hours in advance of the pre booked tee time. All bookings cancelled at least 24 hours in advance will receive a full credit for any deposit paid. Failure to cancel within 24 hours will make the deposit non-refundable. All deposits taken within 24 hours of the tee time booked are automatically non refundable.

No Shows and Shortfalls: Failure to arrive for any reason (no show) for a pre booked tee time, will result if a deposit was paid in the deposit being retained by the Centre. For any weekend or bank holiday bookings where a minimum of 3 green fee deposits are required, and on the day only 1 or 2 guests arrive, the remaining deposit will be retained by the Centre.

Golfing Ability: In choosing to play the main course at Wycombe Heights Golf Centre, you are expected to be able to play to a handicap of 28 or less (ladies 36 or less), The Management reserves the right to transfer you to the Par 3 Course, if you are in the opinion of the Warden/Duty Manager not of a standard to play the main course and are delaying the pace of play. In this event no refund or credit will be due.

Refunds and Credits: In accordance with our standard policies, refunds or credits are not available for delays on course due to slow play in matches ahead or poor weather conditions. Any credits given are at the sole discretion of the Duty Manager. In the event of issuing a credit, the Duty Manager’s decision is final.

Weather Conditions: British weather is historically known to be unpredictable throughout the season, therefore no concession or refund will be made for heavy or persistent rain, sleet, snow or any other poor weather conditions experienced whilst playing at Wycombe Heights Golf Centre.

Course Closures: If the management is forced to close the course on the grounds of Health & Safety, then any customers deposits paid are refundable or credited to a future booking. Only the Duty Manager on the day can deem the course closed.

Course Care and Etiquette: The course staff at Wycombe Heights Golf Centre work hard to ensure that your courses are always in good condition. To help us, and for the enjoyment of all players, please follow these common sense guidelines:

- Replace divots and repair pitchmarks. Rake over bunkers after use.
- Do not take trolleys onto the tees or greens.
- Local signs must be observed.
- Be ready to play promptly but not until players in front are out of reach.
- Leave greens promptly upon completion of hole.
- Whilst on the course, please switch off your mobile phone.

Dress Code: Smart casual dress is required at all times, both on the course and around the Centre. We do not allow gym shorts or sleeveless/bikini gym vests on any of our courses.

The Main Course
- Golf shoes only
- No tracksuits
- Shorts must be tailored
- All shirts must have sleeves and collar (football shirts are not permitted).

The Par 3 Course
- Golf shoes or trainers only.
- No football shirts.

 

Golf Day Terms and Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of £100 per booking is required to hold and confirm all reservations.  The deposit is required 14 days from the date of the provisonal booking letter and maybe in the form of credit card, cash or cheque, made payable to ‘Burhill Golf & Leisure Ltd’.  All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.  In the case of re-arranging an event, a deposit may be held over until the end of the current calendar year.

Participant’s numbers and menu details are due 14 days prior to the booking.  Final numbers must be given 72 hours prior to the event.  Charges will be based on these final numbers, or if greater, the actual number of players attending.  The minimum number required for a society is 8 persons, should a group arrive with less than 8 then 8 will be the minimum number accountable for.  A surcharge will be payable for any no shows on the day.

Please note that you will have to make one choice for your group when ordering your food, this includes 3 Course Meals. Vegetarians or specific dietary requirements are the only exception.

All accounts must be settled on or before the day. If payment is made on the day then this must be made prior to play.

Should a society arrive with more than the given final number we shall attempt to accommodate, however no guarantee can be made as to the availability for the excess players.

Cancellations must be received by the Centre in writing by post or fax 48 hours prior to the event.

Would all society secretaries please ensure that the following rules are adhered to: -

· No denim or shirts without collars are to be worn.

· Shorts must be tailored and worn with socks.

· Golf shoes only on our Main Course and either golf shoes or trainers on the Par 3 Course at all times.

Out of consideration to other golfers, mobile phones are not to be used on the golf course.

The society secretary guarantees and will be obligated for payment of all fees for the guaranteed number of players, as well as any excess players.

By making a provisional booking you are contractually accepting these terms and conditions. Failure to sign and return this document will not void these terms.

 

Function Bookings Terms & Conditions

At Wycombe Heights Golf Centre our aim is to offer all our patrons the highest level of customer service. In order for us to provide this please review our terms and conditions detailed below.

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to hold and confirm all reservations. Deposits are required 14 days from the date of this letter and maybe in the form of credit card, cash or cheque, made payable to ‘Burhill Golf & Leisure Ltd’. All of our prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.

Please do not send cash for deposits, cash payments can be taken at the Golf Centre where a receipt will be issued. Receipts for sent deposits will be issued upon request.

No refunds will be given. In the case of re-arranging an event a deposit may be held over until the end of the current calendar year.

All organisers will receive a booking form in advance of the event. We ask that you inform us of any room requirements, table plans and food choices at least 7 days prior to your event. Final catering numbers must be given 72 hours prior to the event. Your final bill will be based on these figures, or if greater, the actual catered amount. Further amendments to these figures after the 72 hours will require authorisation from a Manager.

We reserve the right to amend or alter any of the packages without notice. All items are subject to availability.

Under 18’s are not permitted to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises. Suitable photographic identification is required for anyone that we feel looks under the age of 21.

The management reserve the right to refuse to serve alcohol to intoxicated persons and to escort, off the premises, any person causing an offence or disturbance to other patrons.
